In his new role, Stuart will oversee all of TSC Subsea’s bases in Norway, Australia, Brazil, and the UK and as president will focus on the company’s continuing growth on a global level.
He brings with him almost 20 years’ experience in non-destructive testing (NDT) and a strong academic background.
He began his career in 2003 at TWI, one of the world’s leading independent research and technology organisations. His work history since then includes advanced NDT at power stations and 10 years at Oceaneering where he started as principal engineering in ultrasonic testing (UT) and left as global manager of the advanced NDT division.
Stuart holds a master’s degree in NDT and industry Level III’s in UT, phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT) and time-of-flight diffraction (TOFD).
“Having spent four enjoyable years at Eddyfi Technology and working with the Swansea Centre of excellence, I am very much looking forward to getting involved with the TSC Subsea division,” said Stuart. “Having spent many years working in the NDT service industry and having experience with the delivery of advanced Inspection methods, I am hoping I am able to contribute to the continuing success of this business unit.
“The TSC Subsea group is lucky to have a unique set of technical and business skills and delivers bespoke technology for asset management inspection. Building on the back of its ACFM and ART reputation, at TSC we are now able to offer advanced Phased Array and Pulsed Eddy Current for subsea applications.
“I am really looking forward to getting started and back to solving integrity issues with application specific deliveries.”
